Frequency of community shopping center visits in the UK in 2017, by generation
This statistic presents the results of a survey in which shoppers in the United Kingdom (UK) were asked how frequently they visit community shopping centers as of 2017, broken down by generation. Among those surveyed, those in the oldest and youngest generations (Baby Boomers and Generation Z) are most likely to shop in community shopping centers weekly, with a respective 83 and 85.5 percent of people in these groups doing so. In comparison, 75 percent of shoppers in the Generation X (born in the 1960s and 1970s) visit community shopping centers weekly, the lowest share across the generational groups.
