French level of satisfaction towards the new immigration bill in December 2023
According to a survey conducted on December 20, 2023, just after the French Parliament voted in favor of the new immigration bill, 70 percent of French respondents were satisfied with the bill. In comparison, the youngest adults in the population (18–24 years old) were not that enthusiastic, with around 62 percent satisfied with the text approved by the Parliament. On the other hand, for around 76 percent of the population's oldest group (65+ years old), the bill was considered satisfactory.
