Gen Z and millennials' reasons for reading news in the U.S. 2015-2022
A report held among Gen Z and millennials in the United States, which asked respondents which were the main reasons they personally engaged with news and information, showed that every metric was lower in 2022 compared to 2015. Noticeably fewer respondents used the news to help them decide where to stand on things in the most recent survey, or because they found it enjoyable or entertaining.
