Ability to manage diabetes before and during the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe 2020
According to a survey conducted in Europe in 2020, people living with diabetes found it harder to effectively manage the condition during the COVID-19 pandemic compared to before the pandemic. Prior to the pandemic, 40 percent of respondents reported they could effectively manage their diabetes, but this dropped to 32 percent of respondents once the pandemic stuck and the subsequent lockdown was enforced.
