E-commerce e-mail marketing benchmarks worldwide 2020-2022
In 2022, the open rates for e-commerce e-mail marketing campaigns increased to 22.94 percent, compared to 10.16 percent two years prior. However, click rates experienced a slight decline from 1.37 percent in 2021 to 1.23 percent in 2022, and conversion rates decreased from 0.10 percent to 0.08 percent during the same period. Despite these declines, there was a reasonable level of success in turning clicks into actual conversions, as indicated by a 6.34 percent click-to-conversion rate for e-commerce campaign e-mails.
