Reading habits among children and parents in Canada

The report provides information on the reading habits of children and parents in Canada, from frequency of reading for fun among children and teenagers, to perspectives on why reading is important in the first place. The study also includes data on independent reading in schools, summer reading habits and the act of reading aloud, as well as preferences, levels of enjoyment and comparisons by gender, region and age group.
