Health spending in Trinidad and Tobago as share of GDP 2010-2021
In 2021, Trinidad and Tobago's healthcare expenditure represented seven percent of its gross domestic product (GDP). The Caribbean country showed an overall increasing trend in its healthcare expenditure as share of GDP during the period depicted. In comparison, that year Cuba's healthcare spending corresponded to 14 percent of its GDP, the highest value reported among Latin American and Caribbean countries.
