This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted in Italy in 2017 among 164 companies, mainly small- sized enterprises active in the manufacturing sector. During the survey, employees were asked to indicate the prevailing actor(s) responsible for organizational fraud against their company. As of the survey period, 47 percent of respondents declared that clients were the most frequent type of fraudster, followed by hackers (33 percent) and criminal organizations (27 percent).
