Up unto the age of 13, the costs including childcare and rent/council tax are considerably higher than those without. After the age of 13, the cost including childcare and rent/council tax is roughly 17 pounds less per week. The most expensive period for parents, including childcare, is from birth to the age of 1. Excluding childcare, this period comes from age 11 to age 17.
