Overall, victim losses in this category were over three billion U.S. dollars. Business e-mail compromise (BEC) ranked second, amounting to around 2.7 billion U.S. dollars in reported victim losses. A further 806 million U.S. dollars were reported in losses for tech support fraud victims.
