Most common cancer types in young adults in South Korea 2021
In 2021, thyroid cancer in people aged between 15 and 34 years in South Korea had a crude incidence rate of 51.4 cases per 100,000 population. This made it the most common type of cancer in that age group by far. The overall cancer crude incidence rate for this age group stood at 93.9 cases that year.
