Social media review engagement among gamers 2023, by genre
Based on a 2023 survey conducted among gamers across 18 countries, approximately 35 percent of respondents relied on product reviews on social media platforms, particularly about gadgets and food, to guide their decisions. Video game-related reviews were a close second, with 34 percent of consumers indicating their reliance on them.
