Europe: fleet-average CO₂ emissions of electric vehicles by manufacturer 2022
In 2022, Tesla recorded no direct fleet emissions, leading to the manufacturer recording Europe's lowest fleet average carbon emission. It was followed by Volvo, at an average of 70 grams of carbon emission per kilometer. On the other hand, Subaru's light-duty electric vehicle fleet had the highest emission level among other automakers in Europe, with 170 grams of CO₂ per kilometer. The European fleet-average emission was recorded at 117 grams of CO₂ per kilometer.
