Annual growth of the OOH advertising in e-commerce & tech industry Egypt 2021-2023
In the first half of 2023, Egypt's e-commerce and tech industry's out-of-home (OOH) advertising decreased by 13 percent. Over the observed period, the increase was highest in 2021, the year preceding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, due to the industries trying to recover. On the other hand, the drop in recent years can be linked to high inflation in the country and the depreciation of the Egyptian pound in relation to the U.S. dollar.
