Egypt: percentage of loss of water 2022

In 2021/2022, Egypt's total percentage of water loss reached 26.5 percent. The highest rate of water loss was to be found in the so-called Canal Cities, which are Ismailia, Suez, and Port said governorates, with 67.6 percent for each. Cairo governorate, Egypt's capital and largest city by population size, had a water loss percentage of 23.5 percent.
