Quantity of water produced and consumed in Egypt 2021/2022, by governorate
In 2021/2022, the total amount of pure water produced in Egypt was 11,167 million cubic meters, of which 8,763 million cubic meters were consumed. The largest amount of pure water produced and consumed was in Cairo, Egypt's capital and largest city, with values of some 1,853 million cubic meters and 1,461 million cubic meters, respectively.
