The results of a survey conducted in September 2022 revealed that the majority of Hungarians planned to cut their expenses over the following months due to political and economic uncertainty in the region. Mostly older generations of Hungarians had to change their spending habits, as over 80 percent of respondents between the ages of 60 to 69 years old stated that they would need to cut back their expenses.
