Payload factor of domestic air transport in Japan 2013-2022
In 2022, Japanese air carriers had a payload factor of 44.7 percent on domestic routes, increasing from 38.7 percent in the previous year. Like the passenger load factor, the payload factor is a measure of productivity, indicating the carried payload, including passengers and lading, as a percentage of the total carrying capacity.
