Internet users who agree online abuse is mainly men's fault worldwide 2022, by gender
According to a global survey conducted in February 2022, 35 percent of men and 36 percent of women agreed that it was mainly men's fault that online abuse is a problem today. The country in which respondents were most likely to agree with this statement was Brazil, with 54 percent of men and 63 percent of women feeling that online abuse was a problem mostly due to men. Opinions of this same sentiment were seen in Turkey, in which 54 percent of men agreed, and 63 percent of women agreed that men were to blame for online abuse. In contrast, just 19 percent of men and 18 percent of women in Japan agreed that online abuse issues were men's fault.
