SEA: positive opinion share regarding electric cars by country 2021

In a survey conducted in September 2021 among Southeast Asians of legal driving age, opinions on electric passenger cars such as battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs) were very positive. More than 70 percent of respondents in each of the surveyed countries felt either "very positive" or "somewhat positive" regarding electric cars, with responses in Vietnam being the most positive at 89 percent.
