Share of organic and paid gaming app downloads in New Zealand 2021, by genre
In July 2021, mobile party apps in New Zealand had the highest organic attribution rate among all examined gaming genres. Racing games followed, with more than 95 percent of the downloads for apps in this category not being prompted by mobile ads or paid search results. Downloads for mobile match games, a subgenre of puzzle games, could be attributed at 14 percent to paid search, and at 9.7 percent to paid adverts during the examined period.
