Monthly production of electricity from thermal power in Tunisia 2020-2021
In June 2021, the production of electrical energy from thermal power in Tunisia was measured at 216.8 million kilowatt-hours, registering an increment compared to the previous months. Throughout 2020, the electricity generated from thermal energy in the country peaked in January at nearly 274 million kilowatt-hours. Due to the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the month of April 2020 witnessed a decline in the electricity production to around 116 million kilowatt-hours.
