Advertising revenue of selected local TV companies in the U.S. 2018-2020
A local TV company, Tegna, had an advertising revenue of 229 million U.S dollars in the second quarter of 2020. Compared to the same period in 2019 its ad revenue dropped by 21 percent. all studied local TV companies experienced decrease in ad revenues due to the outbreak of the pandemic, with Scripps recording the lowest figures of eight percent in the measured period.
