At the beginning of March 2020, the Spanish Government declared the state of alarm in the country. As a consequence, citizens were forced to stay at home, being able to go out only in cases of urgent need. In May 2020, the measures began to relax. However, a survey carried out during this month showed the distrust of Spaniards to return to conduct activities that before the pandemic were part of their regular lives, such as using public transportation. In fact, 18 percent of those surveyed declared they had no intention of using public transportation until a COVID-19 vaccine was found. On the other hand, approximately 50 percent said they want to do it in the medium term.
