U.S. opinion on social media companies power in politics 2020, by party ID
A June 2020 survey revealed 72 percent of all adults in the United States felt that social media companies had too much power and influence in politics. Specifically, 82 percent of U.S. adults who identified as Republican or lean Republican felt that way. In comparison only 63 percent of U.S. Democrats or those who lean Democratic said that social media companies had too much power and influence on politics.
