Opinion on the intent of the George Floyd protesters in the U.S. by ethnicity 2020
As of early June 2020, 53 percent of African-American adults surveyed believed that most the protesters responding to the death of George Floyd are peaceful and wanting to bring about meaningful social reforms, with only a minority trying to incite violence or destroy property. This compares to 43 percent of white Americans surveyed, and 40 percent of Hispanics.
