Credit cards and debit cards per capita in Lithuania 2010-2021
The number of credit cards per capita in Lithuania decreased from over 0.2 in 2010 to approximately 0.1 at the end of 2021. Debit cards were found more often in the country, as the number per capita of these cards was higher than one per person in 2019. The numbers provided are estimates, based on the figures central banks have to supply. Owning a payment card does not immediately indicate it gets used often, as there are large differences within Europe when it comes to the use of certain payment methods.
