In a survey on the sufficiency of minimum wage for workers in Thailand in 2019, 42.1 percent of respondents stated that the minimum wage was enough to sustain the daily expenses but there were no savings left. As of 2019, the daily minimum wage in Bangkok was 325 Thai baht according to the Ministry of Labor.
