Number of federal arrests by citizenship and offense type U.S. FY 2018
In the fiscal year of 2018, 105,748 non-U.S. citizens were arrested on immigration charges by federal authorities in the United States, compared to 2,913 U.S. citizens. In the same year, there were 3,440 U.S. citizens arrested by federal authorities on violent crime charges, compared to 332 non-U.S. citizens.
