According to a survey conducted in Japan from October to December 2022, nine percent of respondents stated to watch online videos on an almost daily basis. The combined share of respondents who watch online videos at least once per week amounted to 29 percent. Online videos in this research referred to videos offered by services such as Amazon Prime Video and Netflix, and did not include YouTube and internet television, which were treated as separate categories.
