According to a study conducted in 2021, around 57.3 percent of students and 69.5 of parents in South Korea stated that they believed the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine was effective. Over a fifth of parents and nearly a third of students stated that they were unsure. Children between the ages of 12 and 17 years became eligible to get vaccinated on October 5, 2021.
