Respondents were asked how much they agreed with a statement relating to the preferential use of virtual reality (VR) to observe their favorite sports team play in a major competition final. This statistic presents the responses to this survey question categorized by the age of the respondent. Within each age group the largest share of respondents disagreed with the preferential use of VR to observe major sporting events. There was a strong age-dependency on the acceptance of VR technology, with 22 percent of respondents ages 18 to 24 agreeing that they would rather have perfect seats to see their favorite sports team play in a major competition final, through VR, than pay to see them play that match live, compared to only 12 percent of respondents aged 65+.
